hey fellas,
this is my first post as your official chairperson and as an official ODAC instructor.

investiture and farewell went well today! teachers were filled with praises and most seniors forgot about our glitches when they saw our gifts. good job everyone! our first task well done, but that only means subsequent projects will be met with higher expectations. its ok, lets jus do what we do best and do it for the love of ODAC, im sure we will exceed any expectation. as we proudly don our gold badge in pride, let's not forget that this is just the beginning

from the speeches that ms low, teachers, dennis and myself made today, i've gathered a few points, that:
- ODAC is a learning journey and life-changing experience
- the biggest achievement is actually to conquer the mountain within us, how high it is, it is purely up to ourselves
- ODAC is not jus about the traumatising pain, but also the Perseverance, Adventure, Intraspect and New friends it brings
- Reflection is important as the easiest peak to conquer in the world are physical, and just ascending a mountain does not naturally mean we will be mentally prepared
- ODAC 24th batch is seeking to be innovative, ie to seek new ways and possibilities to do things without the expense of our vibrancy, all in all to make us more vibrant, efficient and effective as a CCA (e.g. Sikkim trip)
- ODAC 24th batch is also seeking to be integrative, ie to even out differences, maximise interpersonal relationships so as to create a sense of mutual trust and interdependence, all in all to make this human CCA closer to the heart (e.g. mirror sessions)

23/7 - OT meeting, spring cleaning
24/7 - deadline for proposal submission to Ms Ng
25/7 - college day rehearsal (3pm) , reunion meeting and mirror session for conducting of activities (tentative)
26/7 -
27/7 - physical training, reunion updates
28/7 - college day, OSIM triathlon (SU, JS, JL)
29/7 - optional kayaking expedition?
30/7 - intensive reunion preparation
31/7 - intensive reunion preparation
1/7 - pt, intensive reunion preparation
2/7 - intensive reunion preparation
3/7 - pt, intensive reunion preparation
4/7 - reunion

the rest of the people, now that invest and farewell is over, and everyone is involved in OT, please transfer over to the 3 departments ASAP. indicate your interest to CH and be informed about the happenings and initiate help ok?

planning of reunion will start FULL FLEDGE NOW!! pls be committed as we have to show all the past batches the quality of our batch

follow duty roster strictly, but monday will be spring cleaning
if shoes are to be kept in the room, they are to be placed in shoe bags

all those who request for relays, please send to both calvin and shihan to save us the trouble
please be quick in sending relays and inform calvin or shihan when u are unable to read or sms
last person of each relay MUST send back to calvin or shihan for confirmation
reversed relay: e.g. Jia Qian to Jason. will be done during emergency times when we feel relay is being sent to slowly. person who receives both relay and reversed relay pls send to calvin or shihan for confirmation
