Today, I feel significant. Not because we beat the unbeatable, not because we won the cup title to drink from.

If you all remember what the dude said on Monday, I've got loads to add on to it.
To me, what he said, it's true, significance isn't the materialistic things, like the trophies, the nice O or A level cert, the sports achievements, or even great looks. To me, significance (I know this gonna sound super cliche to all of you, bear with me) is in the heart. (Don't say I think too much again okay.)

In captain's ball, significance isn't about winning. It isn't the result, it's how you play the game. Singnificance is how big your heart can go. How you can display good sportsmanship, how one picks himself up when he falls, how one picks others up when they fall, how one shows care for the opponent, how one controls one's own emotions, actions, and speech. How one can show compassion in a game, how friendship can be built in the court. How one can display a spirit that is infectious, and everyone around who views this spirit becomes happy, and follow suit. The game isn't just about yourself, it's how you can make the ball, i mean others happy.

In life's journey. Significance isn't about how many A's you can get, how beautiful you can look, or how fast you can run, how well you can hit the ball. To me, it is about how big your heart can get. It's how you can stay true to your friends , how one can stay true to the person you promised to be with (with divorce rates getting higher.), how one can pick yourself up from failure, how one can stand up for his belief and principals, how one does not aim to glorify oneself, how one can put others before self, and be the one to be there. The journey isn't just about yourself, it's how you can make others happy, how your light can shine through to others and let others benefit from it.

Today, we won because of spirit, not because of skill.

In this world, if there's winners, there's bound to be losers. If you lose, it isn't insignificance. If you lose with pride and dignity, if you lose well. To me, you're significant. To me, you're a winner. It doesn't matter how others look at you, how they may make you seem so small and unnoticeable. It isn't about that. It's about how big your heart can get.

The trophy is in our hearts. But this post isn't to make you all not study anymore, we should still try our best, and together we can do this!

We can do this, with spirit, even if we lack skill, memory power, brain cells or smartness.

loadsa love,
