Hey all!
Can't wait till your exams are over? Well come this July 20th to 22nd NUS ODAC has an exciting event for you! RACE 5! This event is modeled after the popular US TV series Amazing Race. During the event, participants will be racing around the island from one pit stop to the next with elimination points along the way. A great way to for you to have fun after your exams!
RACE is an annual event held by NUS ODAC and is currently in its 5th year hence RACE 5. This year's theme is "Look within, go beyond" where we urge participants to look within themselves and to make use of their abilities and talents and also to go beyond their limits to finish the race. And this year, we promise you a bigger and more exciting event! With an exciting line up of activities we promise you that you will not regret signing up for this event. What's more attractive prizes await you at the finishing line, all proudly sponsored by generous sponsors like Velocity and Swatch.
So come expecting to make friends, having a ball of a time racing around Singapore, going to places you'd never thought existed and even participate in activities new to you!

do i have to be an odac member to
take part?
nope. we welcome everyone!
what does the price cover?
it covers food, first aid and what teams will be
allowed to use during the race.
what are the prizes?
it's not confirmed yet, but we assure you that it'll
be attractive!
will all teams be racing for all 3 days?
nope. there'll be elimination points over the 3 days.
do I get to rest at night? where do I get to rest?
Yes, all teams will be given a mandatory break at the end of every
day. Rest assured that we will provide you with shelter. Due to the
nature of the event, we cannot reveal where you will be staying at night.
what to do if you are interested
all those interested come and inform me first.. then i see whether got enough to form teams, and might help to persuade more to join to make the teams
