hmmm. took me a while to figure out how to work this out, signing in and all. damn. technology these days.
just wanna say.. haven't fully recovered from them damn sand fly bites. hate those sonofa*******. well i think it did reduce in number though.. don't bother to count. too heart breaking.
oh yea.. well i don't have a blog, and i just wanna remember last night.. so yea.. gonna ignore the previous blog.
haha! went for a free gig yesterday! damn good. saw erm.. vertical rush (they looked really old, the bassist looks like he sells roti prata at jalan kayu), caracal and A VACANT AFFAIR!!!!
crowd wasn't too active for the first too bands, me and joe were just like nodidng our heads and erm. swaying. probably looked stupid. saw loads of montfort people there. so pretty cool. in fact. caracal consists of two montfortians! damn slack. those two. retained one year.. and in teh same clb class as me.. they like scream in class and make hell alot of noise.
A Vacant affiar came on. and as expected.. the moshing started! wildest i've ever been in. People punched and kicked.. so did i! whee damn fun. i got plummeted with fists and legs. and yea, in retaliation, i swung my arms and punched indiscriminately. amazingly, as painful as it sounds. it didn't hurt at all. Except when i got punched at the back of my neck. and when i fell. THe floor was as slippery as a banana peel. some idiot spilt a drink all over and lotsa people slipped. THere were hell alot of stage divers too. wanted to, but was pretty darn hesitant. because, well, it ain't exactly safe. some people fall off while some people are just slowly carried down. Was so damn tired.. had to keep walking around the outskirts of the pit to catch my breath. guess batu putih didn't help THAT much. I even hugged a an angmoh dude! and there was one incident which is kinda explicit. so not gonna say.
After the gig, we compared battle scars. i had none. joe had a nasty scratch on his right arm. my ipod was fine, thank goodness.
well! tip of the century! before anyone enters a moshpit do some warming up.. my muscles ached like hell, could harldy move my right arm. and my neck, yea, aches too. must be the headbanging...
that's about it. i knwo this has nothing to do wiht odac. apologies.
